夏至の空

夏至は数日過ぎてしまいましたが、今でも日没は九時二十一分です。

授業を終えて外に出ると、九時過ぎでもまだこんなに明るいです。

パティオからの夕焼け。

気温も結構上がって来ました。やはりそんな日には「アイス・チョコレート・フラペチーノ」系のドリンクです。ティム・ホートンズにて。

現在お店のカップが、冷たいドリンク用も暖かい物用も、カナダ建国１５０年仕様で可愛いです。そのカナダ・デーももうすぐそこです。

    @danielanI feel sorry for him. I hope Tim would have made another one for a case like that. Making a mess on your clothe is already quite maddening so, if he lost the drink on top of ruining his clothe, it is too sad. I accidentally knocked down my drink in Tokyo when I was having lunch with my friends this spring. The waitress immediately brought me a towel and another drink. I was really embarrassed but that gesture helped a little.

    A few years ago I visited friends in Norway for a few days in the summertime, and it didn't get dark until after 11:30 pm, so odd. Yesterday I was sitting on the Tim Horton's patio in my office building eating my lunch and saw a man come sit a table nearby with that same cold coffee you got, except he accidentally tipped the mug and spilled half of it all over his pants and shoes. He rushed back inside to go to the washroom and get cleaned up, and never came back to finish his coffee, must have been mad that the accident spoiled his day.

    @4517日本の夏祭りとか縁日って、やっぱり暗いところで提灯灯すから雰囲気あるんだよね。夏でもそんなに日が長くないから。 花火大会も暗くなってからじゃなきゃね。
